Convincing New Fan Theory Speculates That 'The Big Lebowski,' 'Billy Madison,' and 'Con Air' Are in the Same Universe

There's nothing like taking three completely different films and combining them to make the most epic trilogy by using the one and only Steve Buscemi.

  • Calling anybody who loves a good totally out-there fan theory! Boy, have we found the one for you. Recently, fans of Billy Madison, Con Air, and The Big Lebowski are debating a new theory that really has people scratching their heads. 

    Apparently, if we're going by the assumed dates that each film takes place, then this theory doesn't quite work out. HOWEVER, if we're going by the dates that these films were released, IT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE! Basically, the theory ties together each of Steve Buscemi's characters in each of those films, starting with Billy Madison. In way less detail than you will see below, it basically says that his character in Billy Madison goes full serial killer, then he gets caught in Con Air where he escapes and makes his way to L.A. to become the character in The Big Lebowski. Pretty far-fetched, but a trilogy we are definitely going to movie-marathon next. What do you think? Read the entire rundown below.

    In 'The Big Lebowski,' he assumes a much quieter life and takes on a similar but different name to his birth name, "Donnie." He clearly doesn't stop serial killing.
